01. Location Data

We need to know where you are to show you the fuel prices around you. This data stays on your device as much as possible and is only used to fetch the nearest stations.

You can use the app without granting location access by manually searching for a UK address or postcode.

03. No Tracking

We don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't sell your data to advertisers. We're in the business of finding fuel, not selling your habits.

04. Fuel Price Data

The app fetches fuel prices from our API, which collects data from the UK Government's Fuel Finder API. The only information sent is your device's attestation token to verify you're using a genuine copy of the app. No personal or identifying information is included in these requests.

05. Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device. On iPhone this uses Apple's SwiftData; on Android this uses Room. This includes cached station information, your saved stations, your preferences, and price history snapshots. None of this data leaves your device.

06. Third-Party Services

On iPhone, Nozzle uses Apple MapKit for drive time calculations and map display. On Android, Nozzle uses MapLibre for maps and OSRM for routing. Apple's and MapLibre's own privacy terms apply to their services. We do not use any other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or tracking services.

07. No Advertising

Nozzle contains no advertisements and does not use any advertising identifiers or tracking pixels.

08. Children's Privacy

Nozzle does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

09. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
